McCullough Robertson provided end to end support to the Queensland Government in the drafting and negotiation of its landmark funding agreement with Boeing Defence Australia. More specifically, this included the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, and Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development.

This Funding Agreement, through the Advance Queensland Initiative, will see Boeing develop a next-generation autonomous systems capability in Australia.

It will be Boeing’s largest autonomous systems development program outside of the United States.

Over the next three years the program will see Boeing develop next-generation autonomous systems capability in Australia to increase the independent operation of air and sea vehicles.
