Grace is an Employment Relations and Safety Senior Associate, with over five years’ experience advising clients on workplace and industrial relations matters.

She assists government agencies, corporations and private businesses to navigate complex employment law issues and achieve practical, commercially focused outcomes. Grace acts for a diverse range of clients, including State Government departments, Commonwealth agencies and private sector organisations across various industries.

She advises on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, including workplace investigations, public interest disclosures, Fair Work Act disputes, workplace restructures, conduct and performance management, and corporate due diligence.

Grace also brings valuable in-house government experience, having completed a secondment with Legal Aid NSW. She is known for providing clear, pragmatic advice that helps clients effectively manage workplace risks and regulatory obligations.

Experience

Complex general protections

Acting in a complex general protections and termination dispute involving nine applicants and six respondents following a restructure, including allegations of sexual harassment, whistleblower breaches and workplace safety issues. Successfully resolved all claims prior to hearing.

Australian energy provider

Acting for an Australian energy provider in an application to suspend anticipated industrial action which created a serious risk that scheduled work on a large scale infrastructure project could not go ahead with anticipated losses of $463,000 per day, which were successfully avoided.

Flexible Working Dispute

Acting for InterSystems in relation to a successful flexible working dispute involving work from home arrangements in the Fair Work Commission (Collins v InterSystems Australia Pty Ltd [2025] FWC 1976).

State Government agencies

Conducting several complex investigations for private sector and NSW government agencies including investigating public interest disclosures.

Underpayment claim

Acting and advising in relation to a complex underpayment claim arising from the interaction between the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and industrial instruments.
