McCullough Robertson’s Equity Capital Markets and Life Sciences team advised Chimeric Therapeutics Limited (Chimeric) on its $8.4 million capital raise to fund its lead CHD17 CAR-T Phase 1/2 clinical trial. This comprises a $4.4 million two‑tranche placement to sophisticated and professional investors and a further $4.0 million investment via Convertible Notes and associated Warrants committed by a US institutional investor.
Chimeric is developing cell therapy cancer therapeutics, known as CAR‑T therapies. Added to the pipeline in July 2021, Chimeric’s CHM CDH17 CAR‑T therapy targets the oncogenic driver of tumour formation and cancer metastasis, most notably in gastrointestinal caners, Neuroendocrine Tumours and colorectal cancers.
Led by Reece Walker, the McCullough Robertson team is proud to have supported Chimeric since 2020 and to continue working with the company as it advances its clinical trial program.
